You’ve all heard me talk about Andy Whaling and his relationship tips...everything from - how to avoid sharks and players, to -- first date guidelines, to -- how to avoid serial monogamy! So, to celebrate our one year anniversary at the Village Book Shop, Andy will be joining us as our special guest speaker, Saturday, March 6th!
As many of you know, I attended Andy’s group, when I was single. I was already a therapist. And I had done a lot of work on myself. But, at Andy’s group, I really learned the “nuts and bolts" of dating. He gave concrete suggestions that helped us screen out the “sharks and players" so we could find the other good singles out there.
And it worked! I finally found somebody good. :)
And I know that’s what you want and deserve, too!
So, I hope you’ll join us for this very special event. (I do think this will be a packed house and seating is limited. So register early to reserve your seat!)
I also wanted to let you know, we will be meeting twice a month this spring. I know it’s hard to give up too many Saturdays. And I thought it might be nice to have a place to get together on Friday evenings. So, we’ll be meeting the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month at 7:30 p.m.
Our first Friday event will be March 19th! And to celebrate our new day and time, we will be bringing back the 2-for-1 special (for this event only :). Register yourself and bring a friend for free! And we have a great topic for that night -- Internet Dating: How to Make it Work For You! (Bring your profile, if you have one. And if there’s time, we’ll give you some feedback on it.)
So, I hope to see you at our very special event with Andy and then on our new night to talk about Internet Dating.
I can’t wait to see you soon!
Vondie
